Basketball

Our CYO basketball program is open to boys and girls in grades 5 through 8. Interested 4th grade students can practice with the team. “Skills and drills” help players get ready for the season. Players may try out for the CYO AAU summer program.

Writers' Club

The Writers’ Club gives students in grades 6, 7, and 8 opportunities to express themselves in styles of writing such as poetry, short stories, and journals. The club meets weekly after school.

Chess Club

The Chess Club has been a student favorite, with weekly sessions after school when students develop their skills and strategies while enjoying fun competition.

Student Council

Student Council helps students grow as leaders and work together for the good of our community. Student council members collaborate on projects and events, gaining valuable experience while developing scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.

Community Service

Students learn life lessons through service to others. Student efforts benefit the Hope Food Pantry, Cradles2Crayons and other local causes.

Field Trips and Assemblies

All grades participate in field trips and assemblies. Academic and cultural experiences during the current 2022-2023 school year include the Museum of the American Revolution, Independence Seaport Museum, Challenger Mission Center, The Clay Studio, The Franklin Institute, Musicopia – West African Drum and Dance, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art.
